The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released the timetable for 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE). In a statement on Tuesday, WAEC's spokesman, Demianus Ojijeogu said the Examinations would begin from August 17th through September 12th 2020.
   The council hereby urges the candidates to abide by the rules and regulations guiding the conducts of the examination by shunning all acts of malpractice and obeying all covid 19 protocols that have been put in place at the Examinations centres. It added "we have sent the timetable to the schools and candidates also have their copy" he said.
 This year WASSCE earlier scheduled for April was initially postponed indefinitely because of the covid 19 pandemic. 
   Secondary school graduating students from the English speaking countries ( Nigeria,Ghana,Serria Loane,Gambia,Liberia) of Africa are scheduled to write this examination.
